About

Since we opened our first taco shack in 1969, Taco John’s has been serving fast Mexican food in an original way. Between Meat & Potato Burritos, Potato Olés® and Taco Burgers, no one does Mexican like we do. Over the years, we’ve generated a cult-like fan base that can’t get enough of our signature flavors, fusing comfort food and south-of-the-border spice. Let’s be honest – we can’t blame them.

Our Menu

At Taco John’s, we serve traditional Mexican food in a non-traditional way. Each item offers an original twist that fuses south-of-the-border spices with bold American flavors and fresh ingredients. It all adds up to a signature menu that keeps people coming back for every daypart.

Each meal is prepared fresh when ordered, and guests are encouraged to make it an original through customization: extra sour cream, no tomatoes, you name it. Taco John’s restaurants also offer a fresh salsa bar with tortilla chips and shells cooked right in the restaurant daily.

Our Guest

Taco John’s guests range from teens to young families to die-hard loyalists who’ve visited every Taco Tuesday® for years. The one thing they all have in common? They’re passionate about Taco John’s craveable flavors. Though Taco John’s started in small, rural communities, we’re expanding to including metro areas around the country, broadening our fan base.
